About Agrios Verde

Agrios Verde was born in 2011 from a simple yet powerful idea shared among a small group of family farmers in the fertile Alentejo region. We saw the growing global demand for authentic, organically grown produce and knew our rich Portuguese soil was capable of meeting it. We were tired of the conventional market's pressures that often compromised quality and sustainability.

Uniting as a cooperative, we pooled our resources, knowledge, and most importantly, our shared passion for ecological farming. Our founding principle was to create a model where the farmer, the consumer, and the planet could all flourish. We invested in sustainable technologies like solar-powered irrigation and hydroponics, not to replace tradition, but to enhance it.

Today, our cooperative has grown, but our core mission remains unchanged. We are stewards of the land, champions of quality, and a testament to the power of community.
